Kristen Wilson, RN BSN CSN HNB-BC
Kristen Wilson is a holistic nurse, educator, and former transition case manager for the IDD population. Her career spans years in home care, rehabilitation, and special education. This diverse expertise helped navigate Jake's brain injury recovery. Today, she translates her professional and personal experience into the mission of GOT ABI.

Jake Wilson, Survivor
At 17 years old, Jake Wilson survived a massive hemorrhagic stroke. Now 23, the former high school lifeguard has channeled his lifelong commitment to service into co-founding co-founding GOT ABI. Jake provides essential support for young adults navigating recovery after brain injuries. Jake is the BIANJ 2025 recipient of the Mimi Goldman Award for positive achievement in the brain injury community.

Secretary
Alicia Byrne
Alicia's extensive managerial and financial expertise leads GOT ABI’s operations. Her professional background ensures GOT ABI maintains the high standards of transparency and efficiency to achieve its mission. Her dedication to ensuring families have the resources they need is rooted in supporting her own family members through brain injury recovery.

Board Member
Glenn Smith
Glenn retired as music director of WWFM in Trenton, NJ in 2013. He is a 1963 graduate of Boston University. Along the way he served as radio/TV editor for the Georgia Game and Fish Commission, public relations director of the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra, product manager for RCA and assistant manager of the NJ Symphony Orchestra.

Janeen Yodakis
As a board member, I am honored to support individuals and families affected by brain injury. I bring my background as a New Jersey–certified health teacher, along with nonprofit fundraising experience and a heartfelt desire to help others, to support this mission and help move this organization forward with compassion and hope.

Tristan Smith
Tristan comes to this organization as an ally to those with acquired brain injuries. Tristan is currently pursuing a Masters of Information degree at Rutgers and is excited to provide his skills to make information and resources about living with brain injuries more accessible. Additionally, he has a background in political science and is interested in using these skills to advocate for the acquired brain injury community.
